In Matt. 5:13 HE used the example of HIS church being salt. And if it becomes moraino > insipid, or loses it's saltiness, it then becomes useless and discarded. This is about the distinct quality of our regenerate life! In Mark 9:49,50 HE notes that we will all be seasoned > halidzo, with fire, As well as our offerings,sacrifices,and relationships, unless we lose our salt, and become useless. Once again about the distinct quality of our relationship with HIM! - One of the earmarks of the last days, is a major spiritual defection by a majority of Christians. I believe this is because many are losing, or have already lost their salt! For GOD and for HIS Church! - If we're in denial, or have any doubts about our salt, it will be obvious to others both in and outside the Church, because what we believe will become ineffectual!
